I have trying windows 8, I have not been able to get the sound. It connected to my network easily, pulled in my settings over but lost half of my favorites and kill the Google stuff. I find it hard to work my way around as this is designed for table people. Well I tried it, going back to the older version. I just wish I had windows 7. Maybe I could update both so they would link easier. Canyoudougit
