I can't change the laws of physics

I got it back together and broke the back light bulb again, then the other laptop's hard drive went bad.  Solution...transfer files that run the older hard drive from the failing hard drive to the good drive.

Once I get the good drive out I can transfer the files to it from the bad drive then I can put the newer drive in the older laptop.  After I got it all set up I can put the newer hard drive in the older laptop.  Now I've added 2 meg of ram, a faster, bigger hard driver and cleaned the older laptop.

End result...works good.

It's Dead Jim!

Just like Star Trek, hopefully like Star Trek I will be able to bring it back to life.  In Sci-Fi dead is not always dead.

I got a new bulb for the back light of the lcd and am having trouble putting all back together, my short fingers can be a problem with these tiny screws.  Getting the bulb in just the right place is a problem as well.

Does any one use Google voice as their phone service?  I know you can use an ata adapter like 

OBi100 VoIP Telephone Adapter and Voice Service Bridge

Anyone use Nettalk? I have been looking into both. Canyoudougit
